Catching cold can actually make your life miserable. If you are suffering from cold then it can also give you other problems like headache, fever, running nose, body ache, heaviness in head and many more. Mix 2 tbsp. of honey with 1 tbsp. of lemon juice. If you are struggling with serious cold then take this mixture in every two hour. You can also eat 1 tbsp. of raw honey after every four hours.


Take 1 glass of warm milk and add half tsp of turmeric, mix well and drink it once or twice a day. It really helps in curing cold. Milk and turmeric both are very beneficial for health.

Bitter Gourd

Make a juice of Bitter gourd and mix it with honey or holy basil, whichever is available easily. This is very effective in treating blocked nose. Try this remedy next time you catch cold.


Ginger tea is also very useful in curing cold or you can also add honey and lemon juice to make it more effective. Eat raw ginger after every two hour if you don’t like drinking tea. You can also take ginger juice mixed with honey and black pepper twice a day.


Take two cloves and 1 tbsp. of cinnamon powder and add it to one glass of boiling water. Leave it      for rest and drink it warm. You can also add honey to it and can drink it two three times a day.


Take one crushed garlic clove and mixed it with 2 tsp lemon juice, 1tsp honey and half tsp of red chili powder. Consume it regularly until you feel relieved from cold. You can also eat raw garlic or use few drops of garlic oil during cooking.
